I HAVE PLANTED MANY RED OAKS, LIVE OAKS,AND FRUITING MULBERRY TREES (TO ATTRACT WILDLIFE). MY PROBLEM IS THAT I LIVE IN NORTH TEXAS OUTSIDE OF DALLAS AND THE SOIL HERE IS BLACK CLAY AND VERY ALKILINE IN NATURE . SOME OF MY RED OAKS HAVE YELLOW LEAVES WITH BROWN (DEAD) EDGES ALONG THE EDGES OF THE LEAF. I HAVE BEEN PUTTING IRONITE AND A LOT OF COFFEE GROUNDS AT THE BASE AND ALONG THE DRIP LINE . VERY LITTLE HAS HELPED. QUESTION WOULD A VINEGAR SOLUTION OR PEAT MOSS HELP ?
